WHO IS BARACK OBAMA, AND WHO ARE WE?
Hello, fellow Patriots! It's a pleasure to be here today. There's no place where I feel more comfortable than with those who want to take this country back! And it's an honor to be invited to speak the truth on the steps of our State Capitol. Telling the truth here is not something that happens that often. So I'm hoping that hearing a bit of the truth now will inspire us.
You know, speaking of truth, some people in the media don't like to hear it. They run from it like a bunch of rats from the light. They also have nothing but harsh words for those of us who think the truth ought to be proclaimed, and proclaimed boldly. New York Times columnist Frank Rich, for example, doesn't like Tea Partiers much. He compared our "tsunami of anger" – as he put it -- t o that of "Nazis" and "segregationists." Mr. Rich has apparently forgotten that he writes for a newspaper that's become the biggest source of lies since Pravda.
Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson wrote that we in the Tea Party movement echo the "paranoid ravings of the most extreme right-wing nutcases." Well, considering where Mr. Robinson is on the political spectrum, which is slightly to the left of Looney Tunes, anyone who examines facts with an ounce of common sense would appear to him to be a right-wing nutcase.
And Salon columnist Joan Walsh outdid herself, when she wrote that the Tea Party movement is "disturbingly racist and reactionary, from its roots to its highest branches." Have you ever noticed that, when Ms. Walsh or any other liberal is losing an argument, they can't think of anything else to say about those who don't share their views other than that they're "racist"?
I don't know that I've ever seen a group photograph of Mr. Rich, Mr. Robinson, and Ms. Walsh. How unfortunate for them that the names "Larry, Mo, and Curly" are already taken. My message today to these three, along with the leaders of the NAACP, is this: Your comments about the Tea Party are so uncivil, so mean-spirited, and so stupid, a horse-laugh is the most substantive response they really deserve.
But, even so, I will expand a moment on the criticism from the left. Apparently, there's a disagreement between them and us about what is enlightened and intelligent, what is red-neck and what is not. They think it's enlightened for the federal government to impose a healthcare plan on this nation that the majority of us Americans oppose and don't want!
These people believe that we should stand up and cheer that the federal government sued the State of Arizona. Why? For protecting itself against a flood of illegals bankrupting the State and engaging in criminal behavior. Can you believe it? Thanks to another unelected judge, the will of the people of Arizona has, for the moment, been sidestepped. Never mind that the vast majority of Americans are firmly behind the State of Arizona! Barack Obama says that he supports DEMOCRACY – sure, he does! – haven't you noticed how much he listens to us? The current administration and Congressional powerbrokers love democracy so long as they can impose their own will and ideology upon the rest of us.
And, by the way, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi apparently think it is magnanimous diplomacy and foreign policy for this country to be solicitous toward Third World thugs, to admit DEFEAT while our troops are in theaters of war, and to APOLOGIZE to the world for America's actions. And, of course, they, as well as the NAACP and the ACLU, have also apparently concluded that it's okay for our citizens to suffer intimidation at the polls so long as the New Black Panthers are the ones doing it. I believe every member of the Tea Party would prosecute the offense of voter intimidation, regardless who is doing it!
But let me ask you, very candidly: What more can we expect from a President who is so indecisive and incompetent that he refuses help when it is offered, in order to manage a catastrophic oil spill? What more can we expect from a President who, while months pass, refuses to take action upon his field general's request for additional troops, and then after all that time declines to give the general what he needs? What more can we expect from a President who says nothing when Muslims want to build a $100 million mosque at Ground Zero? What more can we expect from a President who hires Van Jones as a top policy advisor? Let me tell you what we can expect from this President? The continued debilitation and desecration of America, and its continued loss of credibility at home and throughout the world!
As much as you and I might desire the situation to be otherwise – and hope for it with all our hearts – let me be blunt and honest. Barack Obama is supposed to be, BUT he is not, and never will be, your President or mine. It's a sad and disappointing fact. It's not the way Americans should feel about their President! But many things have happened since January 20, 2009 which are not the way America is supposed to be! Barack Obama does not listen to us or speak for us. He could care less about representing us. His goal is to do whatever he can to re-invent the United States of America into the aggressively secular, socialist, and post-Christian state he wants it to be. This means killing every vestige of capitalism, murdering free markets, deconstructing the Constitution however he pleases, and transforming the culture of this country into something that he and his friends might appreciate – friends like Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Louis Farrakhan, Khalid al-Mansour, and Frank Marshall Davis. I have stopped trying to wish these harsh facts away. They are REALITY.
In case it has not dawned upon all of us yet, Barack Obama hates precisely what you and I love about America. He is on record making a statement that is, in my opinion, the biggest curse ever uttered by an American President against this country. It is a desecration, a sacrilege! Perhaps your heart fell, as mine did, when the President went to Turkey and there in that Muslim country, and before the entire world, stated that the United States no longer considers itself a Christian nation. Of course, we allow everyone to worship or not to worship as he or she deems fit. That is what freedom is all about.
But that is not what Barack Obama had in mind. He meant that the Christian values which pervade this country, the history of the Christian settlers who founded it, and the institutions which were distinctively shaped by Christian ideals, are no longer regarded as definitive in America today. Although 70 percent of us, the American people, subscribe to Christian values or beliefs, President Barack Obama journeyed to the Muslim world and proclaimed that this reality is a thing of the past.
I've got some very disconcerting news for this President. American culture is, and always has been, shot through by Christian values. Those who try to convince us otherwise are peddling nothing more than a lie. American culture has always been shaped by Christendom, and the founding fathers were beneficiaries of this rich legacy. Those like Patrick Henry, Samuel Adams, and John Jay were orthodox Christians. Others like Washington, Franklin, Jefferson, and Madison never denied, but always held strongly to, their belief in God – and what is more, they did so publicly!
Our founders believed that the federal government should NOT establish a national church like that in England. Yet their mindset of "disestablishment" did not mean that they favored an ideology of "secularism," where invoking the name of God in public space is unconstitutional.
President George Washington believed that America's public faith provided an essential foundation for "public morality, republican institutions, and national happiness."
President Jefferson, two days after writing a letter to Connecticut Baptists, where he referred to "a wall of separation" between church and the federal government, went to the United States House of Representatives to hear a Christian clergyman, the Rev. John Leland, preach! It was not the first time, nor would it be the last, when Thomas Jefferson worshipped God on public property. Does this sound to you like our founding fathers were hostile to religion? Does it sound to you that they desired a political state totally separated from all things religious? Give me a break!
Abraham Lincoln believed that the Declaration of Independence was the real foundation of America. He once stated that every political thought or idea he ever had was derived from the Declaration. This great document of freedom, as we know, refers to Deity four different times.Many have thought of Abraham Lincoln as America's "foremost public theologian." When we read his Gettysburg Address and his Second Inaugural, as well as a host of his other writings, we begin to appreciate this description of him.
We are not contending that every American must be a Christian. What we are saying is that Christian values and ideals are at the core of American culture. Not Buddhism, not Hinduism, not Islam, but Christianity and the Bible. If and when these are eliminated from American culture, America will no longer be exceptional in the world. What is more, the United States of America will no longer even be recognizable.
Barack Obama does not appear to understand traditional American culture. Just like he does not appear to understand that a national debt of 13 trillion dollars is unsustainable and will eventually bankrupt our country. Just like he does not appear to understand that Van Jones was and is a Castro-style communist. Just like he does not appear to understand that the favorite philosopher of one of his former chief political strategists, is mass murderer Mao Tse Tung. Just like he does not appear to understand that Jeremiah Wright was and is a reprehensible racist and bigot.
If the President does not understand these facts, he is gullible, naïve, and simply a fool. Anyone that stupid should be impeached.
The only other conclusion to draw is that this President does in fact understand every one of these matters! I am inclined to believe that he does. What then are we to conclude about him? His aim is to destroy the America that we know and love. His aim is to provoke such a huge crisis that he can mold this country into one reflecting his own leftist ideology. Barack Hussein Obama does not care one whit about you and me, or what the American people want. He and his czars arrogantly believe that they are the only enlightened ones. And since they are the government, they are trying to impose their brand of enlightenment on everybody else. I don't know about you, but I call this Tyranny
Mr. Obama has instituted universal healthcare against the will of the American people, and it is to be administered by the IRS no less. His next great goal will be to render amnesty to at least 12 million people who have entered this country illegally – and also to allow entry into this country of their families who still live in the Third World. He wants us to believe that this country's only viable choice is to stamp "LEGAL" on the backs of "ILLEGALS." And what if he American people don't want to go along with this? His response is "to hell with us." What if Congress does not want to go along? His response will be to hell with Congress. Mark these words: Mr. Obama will try, before he leaves office to effectuate universal amnesty and, if necessary, with the stroke of his pen.
Are we going to stand for any more of this arrogance of power, of this violence against traditional
American culture, of this leftist tyranny? Are we? Mr. Obama, we the people are watching and listening.
We are fed up, and we aren't going to take much more. We the American people got rid of King George III,
and we will cast you, another tyrant, out as well. It's not a threat, Sir, but a promise.
